The Bummis Swimmi can be used as a cloth diaper cover or as a swimsuit, but NOT both! Chlorine may destroy the laminate that makes this cover waterproof. As a swim diaper, leaks don't matter since it is designed to let urine and pool water flow through. But you will no longer be able to use the Swimmi as a waterproof diaper cover.

As a swimsuit, the coated nylon layer sandwiched inside the Bummis Swimmi and the fact that it will fit your baby snugly will mean that you won't have to worry about messes getting into the pool. Plus, the interior polyester mesh is easy to clean.

To keep your baby comfortable, the Bummis Swimmi has stretchy, soft Lycra bindings and adjustable hook and loop closures. When using as a swimsuit, you shouldn't put anything inside the Bummis Swimmi.

If you want to use the Bummis Swimmi as a cloth diaper cover, use it with flat cloth diapers only and size up to accommodate the diaper.
